  • I wrapped this up today and took the liberty of tagging it as complete. (BTW, I found "crufty" in the jargon file, but not "hanky"; Googling "hanky code" rendered some amusing results.) -- MishnayicHacker 10:42, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
    • "hanky" doesn't sound like an adjective I'd use. Let me confirm that's what I actually said/meant. --cmdln 10:44, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
    • Found it, right before the 8:48 mark in the podiobook version. I did indeed say "hinky", not "hanky".  :-D --cmdln 10:51, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
    • Okay, my bad! That's part of why transcription is a dark art. -- MishnayicHacker 10:58, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
  • Another odd thing that I noticed was that the link to the Podiobooks audio looks correct, but what it returns is the audio for chapter 1. I tried it on two different browsers and got the same result. Assuming that feature occurs to everyone and not just me, you might want to look into that. -- MishnayicHacker 10:58, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
    • It is happening for me too, which means the enclosures in the default feed at podiobooks are broken. I'll confirm that this weekend and ping someone at podiobooks. I am sure I can find links that work for the short term. --cmdln 11:09, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
    • I figured out what was broken, it was a cut and paste error on my part. I will go through and fix all the links. --cmdln
  • Thanks for finishing my incomplete transcription. Unfortunately I could not take the time I had planned to transcribe. Hopefully I will have a bit more spare time next month. --latz
    • No worries, that's the point of an open collaboration like this, anyone can help as they have time and all efforts are welcome, no matter how small or infrequent. I would also advise you not to measure your efforts against MishnayicHacker as I believe he does transcription for a living. --cmdln 11:14, 21 August 2009 (EDT)
